Flatshare DescriptionWe have a small single room available in one of Stoke Newington's best locations. It's in a lovely flat on a friendly street of 1930's art-deco houses, overlooking Clissold Park. It's a leafy cul-de-sac on the northern border of the park, just off Green Lanes, and has well-kept communal gardens plus a good community vibe.
The flat is on the ground floor and is in good condition, with neutral decor, original features and wooden floors. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen, large lounge and a bathroom. There's also an entry-phone system to building and bike racks nearby, plus car-parking spots (on application).
The bedroom looks out over the front communal gardens, and is south-facing. It has wooden floors, a single bed, a desk, drawers, and wardrobe. (The low rent reflects the size of the room). However the flat itself has plenty of communal storage space, including in the living room. You'd be sharing with two girls in their early thirties. Both work in arts/media: ideally we're looking for a friendly, tidy, easy-going female flatmate who is looking to stay for a minimum of 12 months.
The rent is very reasonable, at 445 per month, thanks to our friendly landlord. On top of that, bills are around 100 per month on average (council tax, utilities, broadband, water). We have a big TV - perfect for cosy nights in watching Netflix. The deposit is a month's rent.
And the location is fantastic, with Stoke Newington Church Street, Highbury Fields, Canonbury, Manor House, Finsbury Park all within easy walking distance.
There are bus stops at end of road, with the 141 and 341 buses taking you to Angel, Old Street, Waterloo, London Bridge, Haringey, Wood Green and beyond (24-hour). The 106, 73, 476, 29, 253 and 393 also run nearby.
It's around a 10-minute walk to Manor House tube (Picadilly line), a 15-minute walk to Finsbury Park tube (Picadilly/Victoria): you can also take buses directly to the tube stations, getting you there in about five minutes. Canonbury station (overground) is just a short bus ride away.
If you're interested, send us an email telling us about yourself and what you're looking for, and we'll be in touch!
